Takehiko Sasazuki
Name
Takehiko Sasazuki
Date of Birth
April 21, 1940
Occupancy
University Professor of Kyushu University Institute for Advanced Study

Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Areas, "Face perception and recognition", by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, “HLA Evolution and Disease”

International intellectual competition which started in the latter half of the 20th century has been growing in intensity into the 21st century. The strong competition for acquisition of young people who have a fresh curiosity and passion exists around the world. Because developed countries realized that intellectual and technological innovation and human resource development which can support the innovation are the basis to ensure a high quality of culture and civilization for the future.

I would like to dedicate my limited ability to the Institute for Advanced Study, which was newly established in Kyushu University, to be a place for new knowledge and technology development, and above all, a place for nurturing and sending out of outstanding young researchers.
