Industry-academia research workshop

Kyushu University’s Institute for Advanced Study and Institute of Systems, Information Technologies and Nanotechnologies (ISIT) held a workshop for research exchange at the Fukuoka SRP Center Building on January 28, 2020.
The purpose of this workshop was to bring together researchers to share their to-date research findings, provide opportunities to exchange information and knowledge with researchers from different disciplines, and to enhance research collaboration between academia and industry.
At the workshop, two presenters from Kyushu University and two from ISIT, explained their research achievements in turns. After each presentation, participants, including University Professors, discussed the research topics from different perspectives.

Following the discussion, two information providers, one from ISIT and one from Kyushu University, addressed the themes of ”The activity of Fukuoka Sangaku Kyoso Consortium” and “The research activity supported by the University Research Administrator (URA)“.

Through the presentations of research results and the QA session, the participants enjoyed an active discussion and exchanged opinions with researchers from different fields.
