Message
I am very much honored with the “University professorship”, Kyushu University Institute for Advance Study, appointed as effective on April 1.Kyushu University is working towards establishing the “World-top class University” involving graduate education as well, and aim to accelerate university-wide internationalization.
The programs of Kyushu University strengthen and enhance the education and research functions of graduate schools, to foster highly creative young researchers who will go on to become world leaders in their respective fields through experiencing and practicing research of the highest world standard. Kyushu University is best located at the place open to the Asia, being as a leading university. For these missions, my experience as the former executive vice president in charge of research and international affairs might be a potential aid.
