The brain, with its intricate network of neurons and glial cells, governs functions such as thoughts, emotions, and consciousness. A deeper understanding of molecules, especially proteins, is pivotal to comprehending this complexity. Driven by the principle "Molecules and Brain as One - where the essence of brain function emerges from molecules," we are dedicated to decoding brain functions by exploring the diverse roles of these molecules. By utilizing cutting-edge techniques such as spatial proteomics, molecular biology, and behavioral analysis, we not only aim to elucidate brain functions but also to uncover the pathological mechanisms underlying neurological and psychiatric disorders.

Message

A quote I cherish is from Dr. Einstein: 'Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.' I believe this sentiment transcends mere life philosophy and profoundly echoes my perspective as a researcher. I'm convinced that consistent daily efforts lead to groundbreaking discoveries. Central to this belief is the unwavering curiosity captured by the words, 'never stop questioning.' Such curiosity drives scientific progress and serves as a formidable force for societal enrichment. Fueled by this passion and curiosity, I aspire to advance research in various fields at Kyushu University.
